Lit signs can be classified by their dimensions and types in:
lit signs - one sided: the main side is parallel to the support wall and it is made of translucent material, which carries the advertising message
lit signs - double-sided: they have two lit sides, which are perpendicular to the support wall and they are mounted in console on pillars or façade
XXL-signs of very large dimensions, including in this category rooftop lit signs.
Prolight - a type of lit sign, displayed especially in shop windows, composed of an aluminium profile and a transparent acrylic glass sheet. The advertising message is inscribed by engraving the acrylic glass sheet, then the whole system is lit from the edge, by inserting a fluorescent colored tube in the aluminium profile.
By the building process characteristics we have three available methods:
metallic structure with polyplan sides
framework made of aluminum profiles with translucent white acrylic glass sides (it is recommended that their dimensions to be a maximum 3m x 2m, taking into consideration the dimensions of the acrylic glass sheet)
aluminium frame with easy-change faces (click frame), elements that belong to the display category.
The lit-signs can be inscribed by several methods:
using ORACAL 8500-series vinyl cals, specially made for lit signs
may be inscribed full-color, using real solvent tehnology, with high resistance to bad weather conditions and UV-light
using 3D letters (see this section for details)
Pylon signs - made of acrylic glass or ACP or vinyl-coated textiles, lit from the inside and closed with an aluminum profile, the totems have prooved to be a very efficient advertising sign, placed on the ground. The light systems, the side and the advertising area of the totems can be used and combined in any suitable method.
